This book consists of articles by Sri Ramakrishna's disciples as well as by his contemporaries. It also includes several articles by his Eastern and Western admirers�monks of the Order, leading men of letters, national leaders, philosophers, statesmen, and other eminent persons, each well known in his respective field. All the contributors have the same aim in view: studying the unique life and message of Sri Ramakrishna and paying their humble homage to this child of the Divine Mother. This book presents Sri Ramakrishna as viewed by persons from different streams of life, thereby portraying him in different shades and profiles.

Articles on Sri Ramakrishna from an earlier anthology titled 'A Bridge to Eternity: Sri Ramakrishna and His Monastic Order', which has been discontinued since, have been included in this book along with a few more essays and compilations from other sources that reveal several more facets of the Great Master.
